Hi there! I'm Blueberry, and I'm just a little berry of a gal who's still learning that the world isn't so scary. I came to the shelter after a rough start, and I'll admit, I'm not the fastest to warm up to new people. I'm a bit shy and reserved at first, and I need some patience as I figure out that you're one of the good ones. But here's the thing – once I trust you, I can be clingy and affectionate, and I love nothing more than snuggling up close to someone I care about. I know sit, come, stay, and leave it, and I've been known to be house-trained and crate-trained, so I've got some good manners under my belt! If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side once she feels safe, I might be your girl! I do best with a calm, patient person who understands that I need some time and space to decompress, but I promise it'll be worth it when I finally melt into your arms for cuddles. I'm not really a fan of surprises or sudden movements, and I'd prefer a quiet household where I can take things at my own pace.
