Stitch - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Priest River, Idaho

Stitch is approximately six months old and came to us after being abandoned with his mother. A kind family took them in and cared for them until he could safely come to the rescue. Now that we're getting to know him better, one thing is clear-Stitch is a sweet, outgoing boy with a big heart and an even bigger future ahead of him.

Because he has spent most of his young life outdoors, Stitch will need some guidance with leash walking, basic training, and housebreaking. He's a smart pup and eager to learn, especially with a family who can give him consistency and patience.

Stitch is expected to grow into a large dog (likely 50+ lbs). He's active, athletic, and happiest when he has space to stretch his legs. A small yard or apartment won't be the right fit-this boy needs room to run and a family committed to exercise, socialization, and continued training.

He's incredibly handsome, full of personality, and ready to bond with an active family who will help him thrive.

If you're interested in meeting Stitch, fill out an online application today. Once approved, we'll be happy to schedule a time for you to come meet him.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
