Tubbs - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Prescott, Arizona

Letter from Tubbs --

Hello, my name is Tubbs, but my foster dad likes to call me Mr. Tubbs. I am a beautiful 6 year old mixed breed. I walk with a leash without pulling, I am house trained, I am crate trained, I come when my name is called, I get along with other dogs and even cats and basically I am just a sweet lover. I go into the car all by myself, but I don't jump on the sofa cuz my prior owner trained me to stay off of it. Oh, I am not a barker. My foster dad says I snore sometimes. I am afraid of thunder but cuddling next to my foster dad helps me settle.

One problem, like most dogs, I enjoy food. My previous owner gave me way too much food and not enough exercise. I am, unfortunately, overweight. But IF YOU CAN HELP ME LOSE A FEW POUNDS, that'd be fantastic! I am currently on a diet but along with that I need to get busy hiking this fat off me. Did I mention I walk nicely on leash?!?! I am a fantastic dog, and even more fantastic when I rid this body of excess weight.

Will you please consider adopting me? I'm such a good boy and would love to be part of your family.

Yours truly,
(Mr.) Tubbs

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
