Harley - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Potsdam, New York

Hi, my name is Harley! I am a 10 year old mixed breed and this old fellow is looking for his forever home. In my older years, I have become a lot more honest, so that is what I will do with you. Before coming to PHS I was neglected and did not receive the care I needed. I lost hair on my back because of fleas, my nails can barely be cut because they were grown out for so long, and I was in need of a good bath.

Being in the shelter is hard on all of us folks here, but I am taking it really hard. In being here, I have realized how much I adore love and attention. I become depressed inside my kennel and barely eat my food. I am a social eater and come to life around people. Once I am out of my kennel, I am a whole different dog! I love to run (trot) and play. I may be old in years but I am young at heart!

I am looking for a house to call mine for the last few years of my life. I promise I am the best boy. I have impeccable manners, I am housebroken, and have the gentlest heart. If you are able and willing to bring an older man like me into your home, I vow that you are bringing home the best boy.
