Nova - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Meet Nova! Nova came to us when her owner's health was failing and they could no longer meet her needs. Nova is a real lounger. Even on walks, she makes it clear how much she'd rather be in bed. Nova loves meeting new people and getting as much love as she can. She has not lived with any other animals before, but she has done well in our dog play groups. Looking for a sweet face to invite you to join her on the couch? Meet Nova today!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
