Behavior Notes:
Per staff 8/14/26: Rosie presented as social and friendly in her kennel, with a loose body, wagging tail, and a willingness to take treats. She was easy to leash and lead out, with only mild pulling. During a meet with Chalupa, Rosie was fairly neutral and uninterested but remained tolerant of butt sniffs. Once in the yard, she showed that she is very treat motivated and happily demonstrated her sit, down, and paw for treats. She enjoyed being petted all over and was overall very calm and easygoing. Rosie also met a family through the fence and remained calm and relaxed throughout the interaction. She was panting heavily, likely due to the heat, but otherwise had a great outing and was easy to return to her kennel.
Per staff 8/14/26: Dog Meet w/ Goku: at the fence ears back, body between loose and tense, tail high and wagging, soft eyes, closed mouth. She would sniff and then walk away. In yard, similar behaviors from before. Pulls strongly to other dog, but would start sniffing the ground instead of Goku. Tolerated sniffing and showed some play behavior/bouncing. She is very handler oriented and went to handlers and being jumpy instead of Goku. When Goku got a little too playful and getting on top of her, she got tense and corrected him. Might also be because leash got tangled up near her face. Goku listened to the correction and we ended the meet there.

Steer test: 2/5 with water and 0-1/5 with can
Good gate greetings with sable. Mid tail, ears to the side. Mingled around the yard. Handler oriented. Tolerant. Began to whine when the runners came up to grab another dog
Per staff 8/14/26: Kennel Presentation: When I approached the kennel she was standing at the door. Body loose, eyes soft, body between tense and loose, tail down not moving. I threw treats to the back of the kennel, she went back to eat them, I opened the door and leashed her easily.
Leash Skills: Moderate pulling out of kennel and through doors. Moderately jumpy, especially when you talk to her. Throwing treats on the ground seemed to redirect her fine. Was pulling moderately towards people and other dogs, could be redirected with treats and calling her.
Sociability: Accepted handling and coming up to me without using treats. She had soft eyes, loose body, ears to the side, tail mid and wagging. Leaned into pets and stayed by me.
Play: Did Not Do.
Dog Interaction: Was in Playgroup. See video.
Return to Kennel: No issues. Jumped right into kennel and removed leash by clip method.
Color Level: Experience Gold
