Potato Chip - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
POTATO CHIP
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
September 6th
female, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Potato Chip is a small senior spud with a whole lot of flavor! Sweet, spunky, and just the right amount of floof, Potato Chip is the kind of companion who knows that sometimes the best things in life come in small packages (or wrappers). And while she may be aging gracefully into her golden years, she's still got plenty of pep in her step-and a feather-duster tail that simply refuses to quit!
Potato Chip's fosters describe her as a smart lady who catches on quickly to what's happening around her. She's curious about her people and likes to keep tabs on the household, but she's wonderfully calm about it. She doesn't need to be glued to your side; as long as she knows where you are, being in the same room is close enough. Think of her as a little canine companion, with excellent nap priorities.
When she's looking to up the energy, walks with Potato Chip are pleasantly low-key. She walks beautifully on leash, but she's not looking to train for a marathon. Around the block is usually plenty! At the park, she enjoys a little exploring and some squirrel surveillance, although she's curious rather than confrontational. After a bit of activity, she's generally ready to call it a day and head home.
Potato Chip's ideal home would be a quiet household with a person or people who appreciates the finer things: short strolls, cozy naps, and having a sweet little lady nearby.
If you're looking for a dog would love to quietly share your day, keep you company, and occasionally request a few well-earned scritches, Potato Chip might just be your perfect little snack! Despite her salty name, she's ready to find the forever home where she can settle in, curl up, and be the sweetest part of your day.

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
