Medical Observation:
2/6 (Intake Exam)-- Ears - cuts on pinna; yeasty ears. Coat & Skin - hair loss on dorsum. BAR

Behavior Observation:
2/9 (Per Foster Staff)-- Kennel Presentation: Easy to leash/social. Easy to leash, walks nicely through kennel near handler, easy to return.
Leash Skills: Pulls Minimally On Leash. Zigzags a bit.
Handleability: Loose/Allows all handling. Loose body language, tail wagging. Jumped up on handler a few times. Allowed all handling and petting, but did not solicit much attention.
Tag: Engages in play
Toys: Interest but does not take possession
2/8 (Per Lifesaving)-- Took Lulu out for a walk. Very easy to remove from kennel and walk through kennels with no issues. Once outside she seen another dog (Chief) and got excited and pulled towards them. Handler waited until dog was out of sight and continue walking. We walked towards the run and Lulu seen another dog who was in the run and started to growl and pull strongly towards them. Handler was able to pull him away so that the other handler was able to leave with that dog. Once we went into the run we did a fence meet with Lulu and Chief and Lulu was very calm but still pulling strongly. When returning to kennel she stopped at the door so handler stepped into the kennel and she followed. Easily unleashed
2/6 (Per Vet)-- Friendly
2/6 (Per Finder)-- She does not like other dogs and will bark and gets riled up/ overstimulated when she sees them. She is very friendly and happy. Shows affection to people and is tolerant of handling. Was very good with finder's 8 and 10 year old. She was very sweet with them and played with them. She went to the bathroom outside. Got really crazy with the finders puppy, he was in the crate and she charged at him jumping around and finder says she looked like she was "intimidating". She did note that she was not growling or baring her teeth, and she did seem very interested.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
