Erica ACCT-A-164026 is an 8-month-old female who came in as an owner surrender on 5/21, with Lucky (ACCT-A-164026) due to pet restrictions at their new home.

Behavioral notes:

Per staff on 5/22: Took out Lucky and Erica with the help of another staff member. In kennel Lucky was tense and more reactive, while Erica curled up in the corner. Both were easy to leash but hesitant to exit and took a few minutes of coaxing to come out. In the room both dogs were fairly stressed and pacing the room. Lucky was pacing more so and panting heavily. She was tolerant of handling but did not seek it out as much. Erica, on the other hand, would seek out comfort from her handlers often and would try to climb into my lap often. They both were tolerant of all handling and did not display any issues outside the kennel.

Per staff on 5/22, "Reactive in kennel- growling, baring teeth, snapping

Per Erica's owner's surrender notes, Erica had lived with adults, children, and two other dogs; was described as a "lovable with kids and families overall she is calm good dog; fully housebroken; crate trained; high energy.

Medical notes:

During a followup exam on 5/23, staff found Erica in good general health, nothing that she allowed all handling, "a little bit hesitant but friendly.
