DESCRIPTION
1/20 Per Staff: He is a very sweet/nervous guy. He pulls mildly on the leash, has soft eyes and ears to the side. He does not like to return to kennel, needed two people to return to kennel per Volunteer.
Per Volunteer on 1/19: Meet Comet - and yes, he is just as magical as his name. This pup is so handsome with the most beautiful coat of fur, but what really makes him special is his incredibly sweet demeanor. While I was sitting on a bench outside, Comet came right up to me for pets and his tail didn't stop wagging the entire time. He is a full-on love bug who just wants to be loved.
On our walk he did nibble the leash a tiny bit, but he was very easy to redirect and did great otherwise. He also wasn't a fan of going back into his kennel (which broke my heart... and I don't blame him). Comet is truly such a special, loving boy and would make an amazing addition to a lucky family. I honestly adore him.
1/19 Playgroup notes: Semi-steer, good gate greeting, playful, push pull play style, loose and wiggly, high and mid level tail wags, hackles relaxed, play bows, plays chase
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
