DESCRIPTION
Meet Hockey!
This happy-go-lucky 5-month-old pup arrived with his mom from Ute Mountain Animal Shelter during the Winter Olympics, earning a name inspired by one of the fastest sports on ice-and he's lived up to it ever since! Hockey is an energetic, smart, and loving puppy who's always ready for his next adventure, whether that's exploring the outdoors, learning new tricks, or playing with his favorite people.
Hockey was recently returned through no fault of his own after a medical situation changed his adopters' ability to care for an active puppy. They loved him dearly and described him as happy, affectionate, and eager to learn. Being back at the shelter has made him a little anxious, but it's clear he just wants to be part of the action with people he loves.
If you're looking for a loyal teammate to join your roster, Hockey is ready to bring home the gold!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
