Hero - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Palm Springs, California

Hero is a small dog with a truly remarkable story and an even more remarkable spirit. He was found wandering in Palm Springs with noticeable neurological issues affecting his back legs, causing him to wobble, stumble, and have difficulty standing and walking.

Despite these challenges, Hero showed incredible determination and awareness. When a passerby stopped to help, he didn't immediately accept rescue-instead, he led her to a hidden area where seven abandoned puppies were sheltering. Because of Hero, all eight dogs were brought to safety.

Hero is now in our care, where he is being monitored and supported by our veterinary team as we learn more about his condition and what he may need moving forward.

He is a resilient, gentle dog who has already proven just how much heart he has. Hero is currently available for foster while he continues his recovery.
