Diesel - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Orangeburg, South Carolina

MEET DIESEL — A BIG SENIOR BOY LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!

Big boy. Big heart. And a whole lot of love still left to give. Meet Diesel! This handsome senior gentleman is 8–9 years old and weighs 78 pounds. He deserves a soft place to land and a family who will give him the love and comfort he deserves in his golden years.

Senior dogs should be enjoying cozy naps, leisurely days, and the comfort of a home — not spending their days waiting in a shelter kennel. Diesel needs someone willing to open their heart and home to a big, older boy who deserves a chance.

Can you be Diesel’s hero? He may not be a puppy anymore, but his life and his story are far from over. Please consider adopting this sweet senior or sharing his post to help him find the family he's been waiting for!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
