Dunkin - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Newborn, Georgia
DUNKIN
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Newborn, Georgia
August 29th
male, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Dunkin was found abandoned in a kennel and came into animal control as a fear biter.
Through patience and time, he has come around and no longer exhibits fear biting as long as movements are slow.
It appears he is a senior and has very little vision due to cataracts, which is probably where the fear comes from.
He is in a foster home and has come out of his shell. He is in a home with multiple dogs and cats and is a happy boy amongst them all.
He needs a home where he can continue to understand that humans are not bad, hands are made to be gentle, and his soul will slowly heal.
He was broken, and we are so proud at how far he has come.
It is a joy watching him come into a dog that trusts.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
