DESCRIPTION
Benito is a young dog, estimated to be just over a year old, who came to us as a stray. With his stunning coloring and striking good looks, he's impossible to miss-but it's his sweet personality that really steals the show.
As we're getting to know Benito, we've found him to be a social and affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with people. He likes toys and has a playful side, but he's also a sensitive dog who can be a little unsure in new situations. Benito is still adjusting to shelter life and may need a little time to build confidence in unfamiliar environments, but he warms up quickly once he feels comfortable.
This goofy, lovable guy is looking for a family that will give him patience, guidance, and plenty of opportunities to continue growing into the wonderful companion we know he can be. We're still learning more about Benito every day and can't wait to see him find the home he deserves.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Weimaraner is a graceful and noble breed known for its distinctive silver gray coat and striking light eyes. Originally bred in Germany for hunting large game such as deer, boar, and bear, Weimaraners are versatile working dogs that excel in various roles, including hunting, tracking, search and rescue, and as loving companions. With their high energy levels and intelligence, Weimaraners require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to thrive and make loyal, affectionate family pets.
