DESCRIPTION
James is a happy 2-year-old boy weighing 29 pounds, and he is ready to find his forever family.
James is a sweet, friendly guy who loves being around people and is good with everyone he meets. He has a fun, easygoing personality and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a happy little dog to share their adventures with.
James was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and will be flying to New Jersey in mid-November. While he may need a little time to adjust to all the changes that come with his new life, we think he is going to be such a wonderful addition to the right home.
If you think James could be your perfect match, we’d love for you to apply to adopt him!

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
