Apollo - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in New York, New York
APOLLO

🇺🇸
New York, New York

male, large, young
DESCRIPTION
Apollo is just one year old and has so much ahead of him! After spending his whole life in a home, he's now adjusting to shelter life, and even with all this change, he has been such a sweet and friendly boy.
Apollo is starting to show his playful side and enjoys spending time with people. He's a big, strong boy, so he'll need someone comfortable handling a dog his size. His former caretaker told us that Apollo has lived with both a dog and a cat, so he may be a good fit for a home with other pets with the right introductions.
If this dog is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
