Sunday came into rescue in a dramatic fashion. One of our volunteer fosters received a plea on Facebook to help a puppy that had been thrown from a speeding vehicle. Sadly, these horrible stories are a daily occurrence, so we named her Sunday after the day she was saved. For the first few days, Sunday was pretty shut down. She was obviously sore and scared. She was diagnosed with a broken pelvis and she was covered in road rash. Despite all of this, she is the most loving animal. She lives up to her name and is easy like Sunday morning.

We quickly learned this puppy was actually a young, full-grown dog with sweet puppy-looking face. She is possibly a small hound mix, but is very quiet. She is doing well with kennel training and potty training; keeping her kennel clean at night and during the work day, and pottying outside on a routine. She has discovered that she loves toys and other dogs. She is polite on car rides and gentle with everyone she meets.

Sunday deserves to be more than another sad story. She is a sweet soul, who loves to be close to her foster mom and big dog foster brothers. She is a perfect petite size, around just under 30lbs. Are you looking for a Sunday kind of love?

As with all of our rescues, this pupper comes fixed, dewormed, fully vaccinated for the year (Rabies, Distemper Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, 4 strains of Leptospirosis, Bordetella), Microchipped (with free transfer), heartworm tested (we fully fund treatment if positive) and current on both flea and heartworm preventative.
