DESCRIPTION
Our little guy Oscar is definitely not a grouch! At 9 months old he loves to play, sniff, and explore everything around him. He is also a big fan of neck and ear scritches. While we do not know his exact breed (he is quite the mix!) he weighs around 14 lbs. and probably won’t get much bigger. Oscar would do best in an adult home because he does not like his space disturbed. Positive reinforcement training has been helping him a lot at the shelter, and he should continue it in his new home. If you have another dog, we can do a meet and greet at the shelter to ensure they will get along well. He is also neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Stop by our Lahaska shelter to meet him today!
PA Kennel License: Lahaska #1401, Quakertown #7508
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
