Because of this, he needs a home without children and a family who understands that trust with him is something earned gently over time. Once Shadow begins to feel comfortable, his true nature starts to emerge — a calm, steady, and quietly affectionate companion.

When he knows you, Shadow lets his guard down and shows just how sweet and easygoing he really is. He walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys calm, structured walks where he can relax and take in his surroundings without pressure.

Shadow isn’t a “right away” kind of dog — but for the right person, he becomes a deeply rewarding one!
