At around 2 years old, Dixie is a beautiful medium-sized girl with a heart thats ready to heal. She came to the shelter underweight and is still learning that people can be kind. New faces can make her a little nervous, so shell need a patient, understanding adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace.
The best part? Every day, Dixie grows a little braver. Shes crate trained, eager to learn, and just waiting for someone to show her what love feels like. She is going to be an incredible best friend.
