My name is Juniper, and if you’re looking for a gentle, graceful companion to stroll through life with, I think we might get along beautifully. At four years of age, I display a soft spirit and a heart that’s ready to settle into a home of my own. No one knows much about my life before I arrived at GP, but I can tell you this: I’m healthy, I’m hopeful, and I’m learning that the world can be a kind place.

One of my favorite things is going for walks. I move right along at your side, happy to match your pace, happy just to be with you. People tell me I walk "fabulously" on leash, and I have to admit, I do enjoy hearing that. I’m a little on the skinny side at the moment, but with treats, training, and love, I’ll fill out and shine the way I’m meant to. I’m already feeling stronger and more confident every day.

I’m a loving girl, but I prefer not to share my home with other dogs. I’ve learned that I’m happiest when I can soak up all the affection and attention without competition. A peaceful home where I can be your one and only would make me feel safe and cherished.

What I want most is a person or family who sees the sweetness in me, who enjoys quiet companionship and steady affection. I’m ready to be someone’s loyal friend, their walking buddy, their soft-eyed shadow who’s always happy to see them.
