I'm Maverick!

I have a gentle, affectionate nature that makes me a wonderful companion. Staff calls me a gentle giant! I love meeting new people and receiving butt scratches.

Staff recently took me outside, here's what they said about me:
"I took the leash off him and he immediately began exploring around the yard. After a few minutes, he ran up to staff. He enjoyed petting (especially butt scratches) and climbed into a staff member's lap. He was uninterested in toys and treats, he was more interested in affection and exploring. When he gets excited, he jumps gently but stops very quickly if ignored. He met multiple staff members in the hallway and approached all of them with loose body language. He enjoyed petting from every person and leaned his body into them while being pet. He became excited and lightly jumped on me, but stopped once I pulled him back with the leash."
