DESCRIPTION
💔 Sassy 💔
10 years old * 485 days without a home
There are some dogs whose hearts are so full of love, you can feel it just by looking into their eyes. Sassy is one of them.
For 407 days, she's been waiting at the Marion Area Humane Society. Before that, she spent 78 long days at the Marion County Dog Pound -- nearly a year and a half of watching families walk past her kennel, day after day, as she quietly hoped one might stop... and see her.
Sassy doesn't ask for much. She doesn't need other pets, she doesn't need fancy toys -- just a warm bed, a kind hand, and a place to call her own again. She's the definition of gentle. She adores children and melts under the attention of anyone who offers her love. She knows a ton of tricks, not because anyone made her learn them, but because she's so eager to please.
But what she doesn't understand is why no one has chosen her. Why the days keep passing. Why her kennel door never opens for her.
Sassy has spent over a year watching her friends come and go -- tails wagging, happy endings written -- while hers is still unwritten. She greets every person with soft eyes and a hopeful wag, like maybe today will finally be the day someone says, "That's my girl."
If you have room in your heart and home for one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet, please... come meet Sassy. She's been waiting far too long to be someone's everything again. 💔

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
