Name: Mira
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Female/ estimated 1 year old/ 40 lbs
Vetting: Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped
House trained/Crate trained: So far, no accidents in the house and does well in her crate. Doesn't want to go into a crate, but we're working on that. She is fed in a crate.
Dogs/Cats/Children: No cats. Not tested around small children, but I think would be very jumpy. Mira can be dog and children tested upon request.
Energy level: Medium to High Energy
Before FAR/My history: Mira was found at the end of our road in Forsyth, GA in a ditch. Confused, but tail still wagging!
Training status/Commands I know: We're currently working on a lot of manners and basic obedience. Lauren Edwards with Serenity K9 has been gracious in providing a session to help us get Mira to the right home. So far, we are working on heel, place, and sit. She is doing great and has a very sweet temperament. I suspect she would love to be on the couch with me snuggling if I would let her (we're focusing on boundaries and structure right now though!). She loves to be petted and belly rubs! Food motivated and just wants to please.
