Looking for a loyal companion who is the perfect blend of brains, sweetness, and fun? Meet Maddie! This 4-yr old spayed terrier mix weighs a perfect 30 pounds and is ready to find her forever family.
Personality: Maddie can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but dont let that fool you! Once she knows she is safe, she warms up quickly and will shower you with affection. She is incredibly sweet and very smart. She gets along well with her foster brother, making her a great potential sister for a resident pup.
Favorite Things: Want to get on Maddies good side? Just bring out her toys! She absolutely loves playing with her stuffed toys and is always up for a game of fetch with a tennis ball, although she needs a little work on returning the ball! When its time to unwind you can find her happily chewing on her favorite Nyla bones.
Around the House: Maddie is a dream to live with. She is fully potty trained and crate trained. When nighttime comes, she sleeps soundly all through the night. She knows basic commands and is working on her leash walking etiquette.
Energy and Play: Maddie has a fun, high-energy side but she is also a good listener. If she gets a bit too excited, she is easily redirected to a toy or a calm activity. She would love a family that enjoys playtime and games to keep her bright mind active.

ADOPTION FEE: $450.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
