Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Las Cruces, New Mexico

Hi, I'm Harper - and I just had the BEST day ever.

First, I went on a car ride, which is officially one of my favorite things. I was such a good passenger, and when we got to an apartment, I got to explore all kinds of exciting new smells. Then something VERY suspicious appeared... another dog in the mirror. I barked, growled, and bravely protected everyone until my human explained it was just me. Honestly? Mirrors are weird.

After that, we went to the park, and WOW, I loved it. I met so many people - adults, kids, everyone! I can be a little shy at first, but give me a treat or a few pets and we'll be best friends in no time. Kids are especially awesome. They're fun, adorable, and I would very much like them to pet me forever.

I'm learning new things too! I picked up "sit" really quickly because I am EXTREMELY food motivated. Seriously... if snacks are involved, I am ready to learn. I may have also tried to investigate the trash can a few times in search of bonus treats. What can I say? I'm committed.

One of the highlights of my day was getting a pup cup. I made absolutely sure every single drop was gone. I even cleaned out the cup myself. Very efficient of me. Later, I accidentally got a bag stuck on my face while trying to investigate some cake, which my humans thought was hilarious.

I'm a happy, silly, affectionate girl with just the right amount of energy. I love walks, meeting people, sniffing every interesting thing outside, and curling up for snuggles at the end of the day. I might even enjoy having another dog sibling to play with and learn from.

Today was a 1000000/10 kind of day - and I can't wait to find a forever family to share all my adventures (and snacks) with.
