At 2 years old and 25 pounds, May is the perfect medium-sized companion with a big personality packed into a small body. With her adorable mix of features, she may have some Labrador Retriever mixed with a smaller breed, but whatever her breed blend may be, she is 100% lovable.
May is a happy, playful, affectionate girl who adores her people. Once she trusts you, shell look at you like you are her whole world and she even smiles! Her favorite things include belly rubs, sunshine, and spending time outdoors.
While May can be a little shy when meeting new people, patience and kindness quickly win her over. She is gentle, observant, intelligent, and catches onto routines very quickly.
May loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help boost her confidence and keep her company.
She is house-trained, sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, and does very well when left loose in the house. She does not chew, jump on people, or get into mischief. On walks, she may be hesitant at first but is happy to trot along once she gets going.
May has previously been reported to do well with children and cats. She would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands she may need a little time to build confidence with new people and situations.
