Socks - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Kenai, Alaska

Meet Socks!

She's a loving, affectionate girl who wants to be wherever her people are. She'll happily follow you from room to room, curl up for snuggles, or jump right into playtime. She's smart, playful, and high-energy and has been having a blast playing with her foster sibling.



Socks previously lived outside, so she's still adjusting to life in a home. She's already mostly potty-trained with just a couple of accidents, and her foster is working with her on potty training, recall, and kennel training.



Cats? So far, so good! She's done well with the resident cat and mostly ignores him.
Dogs? She loves having a canine playmate!
Personality? Smart, energetic, affectionate, and very people-oriented.



She does have a couple of goofy habits—like digging in her water bowl and getting a little nippy when she's excited and playing—but her foster is already working on redirecting those behaviors.

It's only been one day, so we're still learning more about Socks, but one thing is already clear: she is an incredibly sweet girl with lots of love to give.
