Chris is back! (through no fault of his own)
Chris is the kind of dog who makes you fall in love before you even realize it.
He's a sweet, smart, food-motivated boy who is eager to learn and thrives with consistency and structure. Chris has already made great progress in foster care — he's doing wonderfully with potty-training, sleeps through the night, and is learning commands like sit, stay, wait, and kennel up.
Most of the day, Chris is a mellow companion who settles nicely and entertains himself with chew toys... but once a day he usually gets the funniest little burst of zoomies and puppy energy before crashing back into cuddle mode.
Chris loves:
Exploring the woods
Playing fetch
Being with his people
Snacks and training time
Like many young dogs, Chris is still learning manners and confidence. He can get mouthy and overexcited during play, so a home without small children would likely be best right now. He's also continuing to work on leash skills, car rides, kennel-training, and socialization around other dogs, cars, and strangers.
The good news? He's incredibly smart and already showing so much improvement with patient guidance and training.
Chris has SO much potential and such a loving heart — he just needs someone committed to giving him the time and consistency he deserves.
His foster family absolutely adores him and is happy to continue working with him until the perfect forever home comes along. They have even sponsored his training and have started his classes already.
