Papi - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Kansas City, Missouri

Ooh Papi, you handsome dog! This 5-year-old good boy is just looking for his forever home! He lost his home due to no fault of his own. According to his former owners, he is completely POTTY TRAINED. And while we can't guarantee potty training within the home, he has not soiled his big ol' comfy bed he has in his room. He also knows a number of commands, such as Sit, Come, Heel, Down and Shake. What a smarty pants! He's not all brains though. He loves to play, and enjoys balls, squeaky toys and tug the most. He is very friendly. Papi can be strong on a walk and pull. He's learning some leash manners at the shelter but may need additional training, although he has done absolutely fantastic with the training he has picked up so far. Papi also has met a very young kiddo, and they had an amazing play session playing ball together. Papi has reportedly lived with a wide range of familia in his past life, including infants!

Papi slept outside at his last home, and when he was lonely and bored he did jump the fence sometimes. Hopefully his new home wants him to be a bigger part of the family (he is 73 lbs, so big is right!). In playgroups, Papi has been tolerant of other dogs.
