Percy's name comes from the word perseverance—and he's certainly earned it.
Percy is lucky to be alive.
When he was just six weeks old, he was found alone in a field, anemic, dehydrated, lethargic, full of worms, and so covered with ticks that he nearly needed a blood transfusion.
Since then, Percy has traded hundreds of ticks for endless love, excellent care, and lots of puppy fun. After multiple blood tests, his latest results show his red blood cell count is nearly back to normal. He is officially tick free, worm free, and out of the woods.
Today, Percy is healthy, happy, and full of bounce. Watching him run and play in his swimming pool, you would never guess the tiny puppy with such a difficult beginning is now living his very best life. Sometimes a second chance is all it takes and Percy is ready to find the perfect family to share his wonderful new life with.
Percy is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt, which means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County). Once he has been neutered and fully vaccinated, his adoption will become final and this handsome little survivor will be yours forever.
If you're interested in Percy, submit a BAM Foster to Adopt Application, and if approved, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting.
