Although he is quite scared here at the shelter, when he feels safe, you get to see sparks of his energetic side (although the energy doesn't last long). Meatball loves to lay on your lap when he feels safe with you. His favorite spot to be pet is under the collar and he melts into your lap when you get the right spot! Meatball will do well in a calm environment where he can comfortably relax. He does need to lose a few pounds to ensure a better quality of life for him, but with some consistently and patience, we know this boy will have a whole new chance at life!
