Shelter Assessment:
Arron is easy to leash and walk but will pull through the kennel to get away from the other dogs once in the hall he walked well. He was very happy to have me pet him all over and will rub against you like a cat. He is a big time counter surfer and tried to snag a sandwich off the sink. He likes treats and will put your hand in his mouth to take them but does not bite down he knows no tricks. Arron loves all toys but favors stuffed animals and likes to hold them and bounce around with them in his mouth.
Did well for vetting
Arron is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. If you have questions about an animal please come to the shelter during our operating hours or email AnimalServices@bcohio.gov.
WE HAVE MORE PETS IN THE SHELTER THAT ARE NOT ON PETFINDER.

Breed listings: Please note that Animal Friends recognizes current research showing that the large majority of breed guesses on shelter dogs are inaccurate and that only a small percentage of an animals genetics make up their physical appearance. People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as Mixed Breeds unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in. We feel that the best matches are made based on a dogs individual personality and recommend families come meet our animals in person. Please reach out with any questions!
