Roo is new to the shelter and, understandably, still finding her footing in a big new environment. She's a shy girl who takes a little time to warm up - she may be hesitant at first when meeting new people or getting used to leash and handling, but with patience, she starts to gain confidence the more time she spends with you.
On walks, Roo does well and doesn't pull much, though she can be a bit startled by unexpected sounds along the way. She may take a little while to feel comfortable enough to take treats from your hand, but that's all part of her getting-to-know-you process!
Roo is a small-medium sized girl - though she photographs much larger than she actually is! In person, she's the perfect size for a companion once she settles in, whether that's tagging along on car rides, going on adventures, or just being your steady sidekick. She just needs someone with patience and a gentle hand to help her feel safe.
