Petey - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Grayling, Michigan

Hi Friends! My name is Petey! My friends at the shelter call me Petey Sweetie, because I am an absolute love!

I am a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles, Doxen, Lhasa and Corgi Mix. Or at least that’s what my owner was told when he got me as a puppy. I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I’m up to date on my heartworm testing.

I found my way to the shelter when my owner had to make different living arrangements, and informally it did not include me, as the new housing regulations said he couldn’t keep me.

He was heartbroken, and so was I. I loved him, I’d lived with him since I was just a teeny tiny pup. The shelter team has been very kind to me, and every day they hold me and tell me a new home is just around the corner, and that I will be loved just as much as my first home.

I am a gentle fella, I enjoy the company of dogs my size and smaller, bigger dogs tend to intimidate me. I don’t mind the company of cats, and kids who are gentle and kind, I absolutely love!
