Maria - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Georgetown, Texas

Maria is a big-hearted girl with an even bigger personality! She loves going for walks and is incredibly loyal and protective of her people. She may be a big girl, but she doesn't quite realize her size—this sweet girl can be a little clumsy and will happily give you her paw to say hello!
Maria is friendly with everyone she meets—from toddlers to seniors! She has done wonderfully with a 2-year-old, children, and even a 90-year-old grandmother. She knows her name and sit, and she responds to a kissing sound when you want her attention. How adorable is that?

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
