Jolene - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Meet Jolene!

At 8 years old, this sweet girl is proof that life is still full of fun, love, and the occasional case of the zoomies! Jolene came to the rescue pregnant, and after raising her babies, it's finally her turn to be the one spoiled rotten. And trust us, she deserves every bit of it!

Jolene absolutely adores people. She's sweet, gentle, loves hugs and attention, and seems to have a soft spot for kids. She enjoys playing with other dogs, gets along with cats, and would happily join you for outdoor adventures, patio lunches, or a quiet evening lounging at home.

She's also a dream houseguest! Jolene is house-trained, crate-trained, respectful of her surroundings, and perfectly content snoozing in her dog bed. She loves food, has shown no signs of food guarding, and hasn't quite discovered the magic of toys yet. Honestly, why play with a toy when you could get belly rubs instead?

Jolene has spent this chapter of her life being a mama, and now she's ready for her next adventure: being someone's spoiled, cherished companion. If you're looking for a gentle, loving girl with a little pep left in her step and a whole lot of love to give, Jolene might just be your girl!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
