Well, hello there! My name is Betty, and I hear I'm quite the looker - my foster parents can't stop playing with my ears, and honestly, can you blame them? I do have pretty big ears!

I'm a sweet little girl who loves soaking up the sun on the porch and zooming around the yard with my nose glued to the ground. There are so many amazing smells out there, and I take my sniffing very seriously. It's basically my superpower.
When I'm not on nose patrol, you'll find me cuddled up on the couch, playing with my toys, or carefully hiding them around the house for safekeeping. A girl's gotta have a system, you know! I also love my crate - it's my cozy little retreat.

I get along great with other dogs, and as for cats... well, they seem a little intimidating at first, but they actually look pretty nice! I think we could work it out.
I'm still learning this whole "potty outside" business, but I'm catching on fast - especially when treats are involved. Treats are a very good motivator, just saying.

Expect a response within about a week; please check your spam folder. As we're 100% volunteer-run, your patience is appreciated!

Requirements And Donations
- Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS).
- Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
- Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies.
- Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available.

Location And Hours
- Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM-4 PM.
