This handsome 2-year-old tan adventurer is ready to find his forever co-pilot! Cruise lives up to his name; he’s always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s hiking trails, exploring new places, road trips, or simply soaking up the outdoors with his people.
Cruise is playful, loving, and full of personality. After a day of fun, he’s happy to kick back and enjoy cuddles and relaxation, too. He’s looking for an active family or person who will include him in all of life’s adventures.

Volunteer Perspective:
Cruise definitely loves his walks! He can be a little jumpy at the beginning of the walk, but he walks nicely when the excitement being outside passes. He also likes to play with toys and will toss them into the air for himself. He is so smart, and responds to commands such as sit and down. He loves to sit by, and gently lean into, me. You can feel his whole body relax in those moments. We will sit quietly together and he truly enjoys it. He is ready for some calm, quiet stability with a family looking for a super sweet dog with so much love to give. Cruise is a really great boy who is ready to find his perfect family!


Doggy Day Out Adventures
Cruise was the BEST boy on his Doggie Day Out! He’s sometimes high energy when he first gets out of his kennel at the shelter, but out in the real world he is an angel with perfect manners! He hopped into the car like a champ and immediately laid down and relaxed. We went for a pup cup at 151 Coffee and got pets from some firefighters that said "You’ve got a really great dog!" (And of course we let them know he’s available!)

Next we stopped for a quick stroll at Southlake Town Square where he people watched, took in the smells, and then toured the Athleta store where the employees said how sweet and well behaved he was! And Cruise let us know which outfits he thought would smell good on us.

Then we stopped into Hollywood Feed to thank them for collecting donations for HSNT and so Cruise could pick out a toy and some treats for his friends. I’m not kidding...he was amazing! No pulling, no jumping. So chill, so polite, just perfect! He will make some lucky person or family so happy!
