DESCRIPTION
SICILY (#42905) - Female. Around 2-3 years old and 38 pounds. We suggest slow and proper introductions with other dogs. Cats unknown. Meets recommended with children - we suggest older kids. Arrived in very poor condition - underweight, filthy, and with an embedded collar. Was extremely fearful and shy at the shelter but is doing amazing in her foster home. Curious of her surroundings. Needs a calmer home and a patient adopter. Learned ‘sit’ and ‘down’ quickly with her foster. Has playful puppy energy and adorable zooms. Very food motivated. Potty trained. Has high crate anxiety.
**Please send us a message on Facebook if you’d like to meet Sicily!**
No appointments needed unless previously stated. Tuesday - Friday: 12-6 pm and Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm.
Meets now recommended (not required) with other dogs and children unless otherwise stated.
All dogs will come vaccinated (age appropriate), spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped. For questions, please message us at Facebook.com/adoptgcac.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
