Cullen - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Farmington, Minnesota

Hi. My name is Cullen. I am a 4 month old little guy from the Virgin Islands.

I am all puppy. I love to run and play. I like toys that squeak and will chew on everything. I have never-ending energy.

I am trying to learn from the other dogs at home. They will correct me when I misbehave. I have learned how to use the dog door to go in and out. I am almost potty trained. I havent had any accidents in the house recently but I do not always keep my kennel clean.

I sleep in a kennel overnight. I am very loud and protest being in the kennel but settle down after 5-10 minutes.

I am a really good eater. I have a slow feeder bowl, so that I dont eat too fast. I get super excited when my bowl is being filled. My foster mom wont let me eat until I calm down, so Im learning patience.

I would love a home with a lot of energy. I need to be played with and loved. I will need to continue working on training to become the best dog I can be. I do like other dogs.

I am neutered, fully vetted and microchipped

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home & truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption; discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, & 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.

Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play, or an active family who will make sure the dog gets the exercise it needs to be happy. Some dogs do not have the temperament that will do well with young children.
The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7.25% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!
