Rome needs one more vaccination before he is adoption-ready. We expect that to happen 8-28, so he will be ready to meet you at one of our adoption events over the weekend.

Rome is "molto picante," very spicy! He loves tossing his toys in the air and chasing after rubber balls. He also likes a good game of tug-of-war with a rope toy.

This puppy doesn't walk; he struts, with an adorable butt wiggle to boot. He plays hard, and he crashes hard too, often with his legs in an adorable sploot. He appreciates a soft dog bed, but also enjoys a cool floor to relax on during the summer heat. Most of his coat is inky black, with a hint of white on his snout, chest, paws, and the very tip of his tail.

Rome is being fostered with his sister and an adult dog. He's social and likes to play with his roommates, but with lots of snuggles, Rome will also do well as your one-and-only. A fast learner and treat-motivated, Rome is crate training and sleeps there through the night.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
