Meet Poppy!
Poppy is a 9-month-old, 55-lb pup with a huge personality, an even bigger heart, and enough energy to keep life exciting! This playful girl loves just about everything — toys, fetch, tug, walks, car rides, dog parks, cuddling, and spending time with her people. Stuffed toys are her absolute favorite, and she’s happiest when she has something fun to do. Because she enjoys her toys with lots of enthusiasm, she’ll benefit from a little supervision during playtime to ensure she doesn’t accidentally ingest any pieces.
Like many young dogs, Poppy is still learning her manners and will need a patient, active family committed to helping her grow into her best self. She’ll thrive with plenty of exercise, structure, training, and mental enrichment.
Poppy is incredibly affectionate and social! She has lived with cats and was friendly but very excitable around them, often wanting to chase or play. She also adores children, though her energetic play style may be best suited for families with older kids who can keep up with her enthusiasm.
Poppy is looking for an active home ready to embrace all the fun, chaos, cuddles, and training that come with a smart, energetic young dog. In the right home, this sweet, goofy girl has all the potential to become an amazing companion!
