MARIGOLD

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Fairfax, Virginia
June 3rd
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

Meet Marigold, the sweet pup that is ready to bloom into your heart! Marigold, much like the flower, is a golden girl with the sweetest personality. She came to us from an out of state shelter that described her as super sweet, housebroken, and a lover of both humans and dogs! During her time with us, Marigold has quickly become a fan favorite and it's easy to tell why. She is just the right size, sitting at 40 pounds and full of love. Marigold LOVES to receive attention from her human friends and often asks for more pets! Marigold met another pup while in our care and did well! If you have a resident pup at home, you can bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet to ensure compatibility! We are unsure how Marigold is with other animals or children. We always recommend slow introductions in order to set everyone up for success!

Marigold is heartworm positive; adopters will be responsible for her treatment plan that FCAS will pay for provided by Pender Veterinary Centre.

Marigold is just blooming with love and will be an absolutely adorable companion, come meet her today!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
