Meet Kai!
Kai is a bright, energetic young pup. Kai has shown himself to be a friendly, active, and affectionate companion. He’s a typical food-loving, toy-destroying puppy who enjoys walks, car rides, tug, fetch, training sessions, and playing with just about anything he can get his paws on. Kai lived with another dog and three cats and did well with all of them, and he’s described as lap-loving, people-social, curious, playful, snuggly, and wonderfully food-motivated. Like many young working-breed dogs, Kai is still learning about the world and can be nervous around new situations or unfamiliar dogs. Because he previously lived successfully with animals and has done well in dog-friendly environments, he shows promise—he just needs guidance and positive experiences moving forward. He’s highly trainable, incredibly food-motivated, and eager to learn, making him a fantastic candidate for a family ready to dedicate time to training, socialization, and plenty of physical and mental exercise.
Kai is best suited for an adopter experienced with working breeds—or someone excited to commit to training and channeling his energy in positive ways. He will need someone to work with him on puppy mouthing guidance, ongoing socialization support, and a recommendation to partner with a positive-reinforcement trainer. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, active pup with tons of potential and a heart full of enthusiasm, Kai may be the perfect match.
