Meet Pippa!
Pippa may be a little lady, but she has plenty of personality! Found as a stray and pulled from a small rural South Carolina shelter, she’s now fostered alongside Peyton and Eli — and has no problem keeping those boys in line.
We have no idea what Pippa's breed is. Her shelter paperwork says retriever mix, which we doubt. Her head resembles a dachshund and she's on the smaller side. Your guess though is as good as ours. What we do know is ... Pippa is sweet, social, playful and an incredible cuddler. She loves playing with other dogs but is just as happy buddying up with her people for some snuggle time.
She’s currently working on crate and house training and learning all the ropes of being the best little puppy she can be.
Playful, affectionate and full of sweetness, Pippa is ready for a family to grow up with!

ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
