Meet Charlotte! 💕 This striking 7-month-old, 48-pound silver mixed-breed girl has been waiting patiently for her forever family.

Charlotte has been in a foster home for the past three months, and she's made wonderful progress. Her foster family calls her Charlie. She is crate trained, house trained, and walks pretty well on a leash. She absolutely loves being outside, where she can romp, run, and play with her foster siblings. Sometimes she gets a little overzealous with her play--and she has a special talent for giving her friends enthusiastic face kisses! 😂

But Charlie's biggest journey is learning to trust her humans. She can be very shy at first, and she needs someone who understands that trust takes time. The amazing thing is that she wants SO much to trust you. Once she feels safe and lets you into her heart, you'll discover what a sweet, loving cuddle bug she truly is. ❤️

Charlie also loves her crate and is perfectly happy settling in with a good bone to chew on.

She has not been around children, so we're looking for a patient family who will give her the time, love, and encouragement she needs to blossom.

Charlie may not be the girl who runs up to you on the first meeting--but she just might be the girl who eventually curls up in your lap and never wants to leave. 🥰
