Fuji - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Durham, North Carolina

FUJI

Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Durham, North Carolina
July 22nd
male, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

You might think I was named after Mount Fuji, but the truth is I earned my name because I couldn’t resist Fuji apple treats! Once you meet me, though, you’ll probably agree the name fits for another reason too—I’m a pretty handsome pup with lots of charm to go around. I’m still young, which means I wake up every day ready to play, explore, learn, and soak up all the affection you’ll give me! Whether we’re heading out on a sniff-filled walk, solving brain games together, tossing around toys, or (my personal favorite) climbing into your lap for cuddles after a busy day, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my people.

Since I’m still a young guy, I’d love a family that’s excited to help me learn all the important things that come with growing up. Positive training, fun enrichment activities, plenty of toys, and opportunities to explore the world will keep both my body and my busy brain happy. In return, you’ll get a sweet, enthusiastic best friend who’s always ready for the next adventure and just as ready to curl up beside you when the day is done. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will fill your home with laughter, love, and just a little bit of puppy mischief, we might be the perfect match! Come adopt me today!

Kids: 6+, can be jumpy, use object exchange for toys

Dogs: Little nervous with active and forward dogs. Curious sniffing, offers play once comfortable but prefers gentle dogs

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
