Hi… I’m Dixie 🐾

I’m about 2 years old, and everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest girl. I have the happiest, most playful personality and so much love in my heart.

One night, I was left outside a vet’s office… alone… in the dark.
I waited… hoping someone would come back for me.
But no one ever did.

I’m still the same happy girl I’ve always been. I still wag my tail when people walk by. I still get excited, hoping this might be my person.

I love kids. I’m great with other dogs and animals. I just want to be near someone… to follow you around, to sit beside you, to feel like I belong again.

I love to run and play fetch… I dream about having a yard, a home, a family… something that’s mine.

I’ve been in the shelter for 2 months now, and I’m running out of time… I don’t understand why no one has chosen me yet. I’m right here, just waiting for someone to see me and give me a chance.
